As part of a rebranding initiative for the UC Davis Road Ecology Center’s biennial International Conference on Ecology and Transportation, I developed a flexible identity system that adapts to each host location across the U.S. While maintaining consistent logo and typographic lockup for brand cohesion, each edition features a unique logo to reflect its regional context—such as a snapping turtle for Vermont (2023) and a bighorn sheep for Colorado (2025). This approach ensures a sense of place while reinforcing a unified visual framework across events.

Prior to rebranding the 2023 ICOET logo, I was commissioned to design the conference program. As the visual identity had not yet been established, the program design remained intentionally design-agnostic—free from both previous and new branding elements. This approach ensured the program’s functionality and clarity while allowing space for future brand cohesion.
